NALLAPADAM-The little helping hands

Updated: 25-09-2014

In2013, with a  view to extend our charitable hands the students of our school cultivated vegetables such as spinach, tomato, beans, green chillies etc. to avail ‘pesticide  free veggies’ to the community.  They had a  golden harvest , that earned them a handsome  amount, which was  spent  for   charity.

The food festival  organized  for  fund –raising  was  a grand success. Sereena  Varghese of  IA    and Sneha Varghese of LKG are proud of their school-mates to give them a place to be called ‘a house’. A big thanks to the efforts put in by the school management, teachers, students and parents.

The next endeavour was to save the life of Mr.Raju D , father of Riya Raju of IIB who is suffering from parkinsons. The learners raised  Rs.50000 and the amount was handed over to the family by the school Manager Fr.Jose Konatt CMI.

This year also the students have started various endeavours , which show that the little streams of love and compassion will never go dry.
